Day 3 in Estonia
Our day
started at nine o’clock when we had breakfast. Our plan for the day was to go
to Tõrva and complete some tasks, which challenged us to communicate with
people from other nationalities. At first we weren’t very excited because we
had to walk on foot five kilometers but it wasn’t that difficult (only on our
way to Tõrva of course). When we reached the city, we were amazed – it was so
different from the other places we have been and to complete our tasks, we had
to walk all around it which was quite challenging and new for us. We had about
2 hours to do everything and some of the groups succeeded. We also bought a lot
of souvenirs… and chocolate ♥.
Unfortunately, on our way back
home we were all exhausted from the long day in the city and on top of all we
had to walk those five painful kilometers again! When we finally reached the
houses, we were barely walking but that wasn’t a problem, who needs legs? After
the soup we had at lunch, we had to prepare presentations in which we had to
talk about our day in Tõrva and show the other groups the pictures we had all
taken – some of them were really funny! After presenting everything, we were
free to rest and dinner was also waiting to be eaten at nine o’clock so we
didn’t waste our time. Later the Estonians started
the Intercultural evenings by presenting Portugal. We had a chance to try some
traditional Portugal food and drinks which were very delicious and of course we
had a party till the end of the night. Some of the girls were dancing Zumba
while the others were just enjoying the good music. At midnight some of us
decided we didn’t feel like sleeping so we went for a walk, the others just
hopped into bed.
